Our Story

CoachCanvas was born out of frustration.

I'm August Hulbert — a 19-year-old business student at Wilfrid Laurier University with a passion for athletics, running, and bodybuilding. Like a lot of people serious about their fitness, I spent time looking for coaches online. I found talented people. People who clearly knew their craft. But when it came time to actually commit and hand over my money, something always stopped me.

A Linktree. A contact form. A PayPal link. No website. No credentials. No story. Nothing that told me who this person really was or why I should trust them with my body and my progress.
